Description We are in search of an Accounting Assistant. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity and involves the handling of customer applications, keeping track of customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. It also entails monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary action. Responsibilities: • Accurately and efficiently processing customer credit applications. • Keeping track of customer credit records and ensuring they are accurate. • Reconciliation of collection reports and cash posting reports. • Sorting bad check vouchers, verifying account numbers and amounts, and inputting information accordingly. • Preparing journal entries for month-end close. • Verifying overpayment status • Undertaking various other duties as assigned, including analytical research, extensive complex data entry, and collaboration on finalizing various reports. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook • Demonstrated ability to prepare and manage journal entries • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail • Previous experience in preparing journal entries is required • Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP) operations Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
