Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounting Assistant in the construction/contractor industry at our workplace in Albuquerque, New Mexico, United States. As an Accounting Assistant, you will be tasked with managing various accounting functions, maintaining financial records, and handling customer inquiries. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications within the accounting software systems. • Handle accounts payable and receivable functions, including auditing and bank reconciliations. • Utilize QuickBooks and QuickBooks Desktop for various accounting tasks. • Efficiently manage payroll processes, including the preparation and distribution of physical checks. • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries and concerns. • Maintain up-to-date and accurate customer credit records. • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. • Use ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning for tracking and reporting financial data. • Work with Concur and CaseWare for expense management and auditing tasks. • Ensure accurate data entry and maintain organized financial records. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must • Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required • Experience with CaseWare is essential • Knowledge of Concur is highly desirable • Understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary • Ability to perform all Accounting Functions effectively • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is required • Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is needed • Experience in Auditing is a plus • Ability to handle Bank Reconciliations effectively Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
