Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Accounting Assistant in Exeter, California. The individual will be part of our financial team and will be responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks. The role involves processing invoices, reconciling accounts, assisting with payroll, and maintaining financial records. Responsibilities: • Efficiently handling invoice processing tasks • Assisting with payroll functions as required • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate financial records • Reconciling accounts to ensure accuracy in financial operations • Utilizing software like Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various accounting tasks • Working with both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) as needed • Performing account reconciliation tasks for maintaining financial transparency • Undertaking data entry tasks for maintaining up-to-date accounting information • Handling billing-related tasks as part of the role • Ensuring responsible handling of confidential information Requirements • Candidate must possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is necessary. • Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required. • Familiarity with Billing procedures and practices is a must. • Should have strong Data Entry skills. • Experience in Invoice Processing is essential. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required. • Knowledge of Oracle is a plus. • Familiarity with QuickBooks software is preferred. • Experience with SAP is highly desirable.
