We are looking for a dedicated Accounting Assistant like you to be a part of our team. **Job Summary and Qualifications** We are currently seeking an Accountant Assistant to join our team! As our Accountant Assistant, you will assist the Accounting Supervisor and provides financial information by maintaining, reconciling accounts and preparing reports. We want you to apply now! **What you will do in this role:** + You will assist with accounts payable, contract services, rents and leases and utilities, to ensure accuracy at month end close. + You will prepare reporting books for Division Controller and CFO, + You will verify the accuracy of vendor accounts payable invoices. + You will ensure resolution of discrepancies on invoices and other concerns by making inquiries to the vendors and the hospital purchasing department. + You will maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable detail; adjusting entries for amortization; analyzing and reconciling accounts payable ledgers; preparing fixed asset depreciation and accruals. **What Qualifications you will need:** + Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance; Bachelor's Degree and/or CPA exam eligibility preferred + Minimum 0-2 years' experience + Critical thinking, service excellence and good interpersonal communication skills, ability to read/comprehend written instructions, ability to follow verbal instructions, PC skills HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital is a 350-bed facility offering a range of services.
