Accounting Assistant

Responsibilities:

Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.Verify and reconcile purchase orders, invoices, and statements.Maintain accurate records of all AP transactions.Communicate with vendors to resolve discrepancies and answer inquiries.Assist in month-end closing activities related to AP.Generate and send out invoices to customers.Monitor and follow up on outstanding receivables.Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies.Maintain accurate records of all AR transactions.Assist in month-end closing activities related to AR.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in an accounting role, with a focus on AP and AR.Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Excellent organizational and time management skills.Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $33.00/hr.
