Job Description
Assist the accounting team with various tasks at the organization's headquarters. This position involves heavy data entry, inputting data into their systems from Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) and other related tasks.
ResponsibilitiesPerform heavy data entry tasks, inputting data into accounting systems from AP/AR.Assist with general ledger tasks and financial statement reporting.Prepare and input journal entries.Support the accounting team in maintaining accurate financial records.Assist in the preparation of various financial reports.Essential SkillsMinimum 1 year experience in general accounting or transaction processing using QuickBooks.Strong problem-solving skills and basic accounting principles knowledge.Excellent documentation, research, and resolution skills.Ability to multi-task and meet established deadlines.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Organized, detail-oriented, and a self-starter.Experience with data entry, record keeping, and computer operation.Additional Skills & QualificationsAccounts Payable / Accounts Receivable experience is a plus.Team player attitude.Customer service orientation.Prior experience using Salesforce is a plus.Work Environment
The position requires working 3 days a week onsite at the office. The hours are 9am-5pm, with any 3 days being hybrid. This role provides a great opportunity to get your foot in the door with a large national manufacturing company.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $15.00 - $18.00/hr.
