Accounting Assistant/AR Specialist, Full-Time

Bonita National Golf & Country Club currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. This role involves significant interaction with our members, and we’re looking for someone who excels in both accounting functions and member relations.

The Accounting Assistant/AR Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of accounting tasks while also providing exceptional customer service to our members. This role involves managing financial transactions, handling member inquiries, and ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial information.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Accounting Functions:

Process and record financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and reconciliations. Maintain accurate and organized financial records and ledgers. Assist in preparing monthly financial reports and reconciliations. Conduct regular audits of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies. 2.   AR Specialist: Serve as a primary point of contact for member inquiries related to billing, account status, and financial transactions. Resolve member issues and concerns in a timely and professional manner. Provide clear and helpful information to members regarding their accounts and transactions. Maintain a positive and supportive relationship with members, enhancing their overall experience with the company.

3. Administrative Support:

Assist with the preparation and processing of member account documentation and correspondence. Coordinate with other departments to address member needs and ensure seamless service delivery. Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry, and managing correspondence.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education. Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in an accounting role with significant customer or member interaction. Skills: Proficient in accounting and Club software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Northstar experience a plus but not required. Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle member interactions professionally. Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
