InsureMyTrip is looking for an Accounting Assistant II to perform routine accounting activities such as maintaining the general ledger, preparing various accounting statements and financial reports, and accounts payable or receivable functions.

The Adventure Ahead:

Compile, sort, and review documents, such as invoices, checks, and receipts, to substantiate business transactionsReconcile general ledger accounts with various registers. Processes changes to existing policiesVerify and post details of business transactions, such as expenses, funds received and disbursed, and total accounts to general ledger, computer spreadsheets, and/or databases

Skills and Experience Needed:

High School degree/GEDTwo years of relevant and progressive experience in Accounting/FinanceIntermediate proficiency and experience using Microsoft ExcelGood organizational and analytical skills; Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and the ability to work independently
