Miller Brother Staffing in York, PA has the immediate need of an experienced Accounting Assistant/Receptionist for 1st shift.
Pay Rate – $16/hr
Shift: Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5pm
Friday: 8:30am-3pm
( ½ hour unpaid lunch)

We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks. The duties of the Administrative Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. Administrative Assistant responsibilities include creating parts orders/jobs and ordering parts, arranging shipping, invoicing customers, preparing reports and maintaining appropriate filing systems. The ideal candidate should have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and Office, QuickBooks and general office equipment. If you have previous experience as a secretary or Executive administrative assistant and familiarity within our industry, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, a successful Admin Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
JOB DUTIES/QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED: Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Must have strong computer skills with Microsoft Office applications and accounting software (QuickBooks) Must have minimum 1 years of administrative experience with accounting functions Must have experience with payroll, accounts payable, sales tax Responsible for equipment & liability insurance requirements Ability to complete purchase orders and verify receiving orders Must have strong customer service skills Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in data entry
