Job Description

As we continue to grow, we are looking to hire an Accounting Assistant to join our growing Finance Department in Zagreb. Accounting assistant’s job description includes bookkeeping and archiving, but also providing needed administrative support to the Finance Department. 

The Accounting Assistant role is a varied one, covering various accounting responsibilities: 

processing and recording incoming invoices by fact checking and determining cost centers and projectscommunication with vendors (providing information regarding invoice payments, resolving issues that require invoice adjustments/credit notes)ensuring approvals of invoicesarchiving invoices and proofs of paymentworking effectively with other finance team members

QualificationsAccounting, Economics, Finance or equivalent field of study desirable previous accounting experiencestrong English written and oral communication skills (at least B2)willingness to learn and work under fixed working schedule with deadlinesdesirable previous knowledge and use of MS Officestrong interpersonal and communication skillsstrong focus on details and correct accounting entries
