We have an exciting position open within Caterpillar as an Accounting Associate for the Americas Distribution & Service Division. In this role, you will have the opportunity within the Global Service team of Americas Distribution & Service Division to provide financial analysis and financial support to leadership while also collaborating with business partners in execution of the divisional strategy. **What You Will Do:** + Preparing/posting entries, verifying and reconciling input to financial reporting systems + Presentation and explanation of monthly results to key leadership stakeholders + Use of business systems/tools including, but not limited to Axiom, Power BI, etc. + Upon request, take part in special projects and ad hoc reporting requests + Create and utilize automated tools to drive efficiency to support scale of the business functions and accurate financial results **What You Have:** + Education/Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in – Accounting or Finance. + Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision. + Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material. + Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. + Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. + Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. **Top Candidates Will Have:** + Experience in closing, budgeting and forecasting. + Strong Excel experience. **Additional Details:** + Location: preferred location is Peoria, IL or Irving, TX + This role is a full time, hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office + Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify **Summary Pay Range:** $79,800.00 - $119,760.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
