We have an exciting opportunity for an Accountant within the Cat Digital - Financial Reporting team providing support for FP&A activities along with partnering with Cat Digital Decision and Cost Support team. As a Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant within Cat Digital, you will perform staff level finance functions that deal with headcount reporting and assist the Decision & Cost support teams with Product Reporting and Time Reporting improvements. Desired improvements would be driven through data analytics. This position is an excellent opportunity to learn more about Cat Digital and a variety of digital driven projects that support our enterprise service growth initiatives. **What You Will Do:** + Financial analysis and monthly reporting on Headcount, Product Reporting, and Time Reporting. + Use of business systems/tools including, but not limited to Axiom, Power BI, etc. + Create and utilize automated tools to drive efficiency to support scale of the business functions and accurate financial results. **What You Will Have:** + Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in – Accounting, Finance, Data Analytics + Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Accurately gauges the impact and cost of errors, omissions, and oversights. Learns from mistakes and applies lessons learned. + Accounting: Knowledge of accounting methods, processes, and tools; ability to maintain and prepare financial statements and reports using accounting methods and processes. + Financial Analysis: Knowledge of tools and approaches of financial analysis; ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material. + Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems. + Managing Multiple Priorities: Knowledge of effective self-management practices; ability to manage multiple concurrent objectives, projects, groups, or activities, making effective judgments as to prioritizing and time allocation. + Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. + Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. **Top Candidates Will Have:** + 1-2 years of accounting experience with exposure to data analytics. + Power BI experience. **Additional Details:** + This position will be located in our Peoria, IL or Chicago, IL office. + This role is a full time, Hybrid position and currently requires 3 days a week in office. + Domestic relocation assistance is available for those who qualify. + Sponsorship is not available This Job Description is intended as a general guide to the job duties for this position and is intended for the purpose of establishing the specific salary grade.
