Description Robert Half is on the lookout for a proficient Accounting Associate to join our client's team in Philadelphia. As an Accounting Associate, you will play a pivotal role in handling both accounts payable and accounts receivable, maintaining precise records, and addressing customer inquiries in a timely manner. You will also be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions when required. Responsibilities: + Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable efficiently + Address customer inquiries promptly and professionally + Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when needed + Reconcile account discrepancies and ensure accurate billing + Process invoices efficiently and accurately + Proficient use of Microsoft Excel for data entry and other tasks + Familiarity with Sage 100 for various accounting tasks. Requirements The ideal Accounting Associate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or similar. Other requirements for the Accounting Associate role include and are not limited to: + 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, + Experience with SAGE 100 preferred + Excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, EXCEL, etc.) + Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
