Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Chicago, Illinois. This role is situated within a fast-paced environment, where the key function is to ensure accurate and efficient processing of client billing and related tasks. Responsibilities: • Act as a liaison between various internal departments and outsourced accounting, facilitating communication and cooperation. • Accurately process and approve General Ledger account allocation for submitted expenses. • Perform thorough and precise accounts receivable reports and analysis. • Assist in year-end budget preparation, ensuring accuracy and completeness. • Respond promptly and professionally to client requests regarding accounts receivable matters and invoicing. • Handle client billing, ensuring it is accurate, complete, and dispatched in a timely manner. • Collaborate with assistants and billing attorneys to resolve any discrepancy issues related to billing. • Assist with collection activity as directed by billing attorneys. • Provide support to virtual CFO and outsourced Accounting Department as needed. • Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and commitment to the role.
