Description We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to join our team, based in San Antonio, Texas. This position operates within the leasing industry and involves overseeing the management of a fleet of vehicles. As an Accounting Clerk, you'll be expected to handle various administrative tasks, confirm reservations, maintain optimal vehicle inventory, and provide excellent customer service. Responsibilities: • Manage a fleet of vehicles, ensuring availability for incoming customers and drivers. • Handle all administrative tasks related to the proper management of the fleet. • Confirm reservations and ensure vehicle inventory is kept at an optimal level. • Provide customer service to existing drivers and renters via telephone and email. • Communicate daily with our corporate office regarding inventory, status of vehicles, and necessary maintenance requests. • Ensure that vehicles are cleaned and serviced prior to the next rental. • Supervise representatives dedicated to maintaining the fleet throughout San Antonio. • Handle basic accounting related to the fleet, including data entry, invoice processing, and maintaining accounts payable and receivable. • Use Microsoft Excel for managing and updating the database. • No cold calling or appointment setting is required, but account management is a must.
