Description We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This role is primarily involved in the nonprofit industry, with a focus on maintaining financial records and processing transactions. The workplace is a dynamic environment where attention to detail is crucial. Responsibilities: • Accurately managing and processing expense reports for a large group of employees. • Oversee the processing of donations and prepare corresponding journal entries. • Handle accounts payable duties efficiently. • Ensure all credit card receipts are collected and approved in a timely manner. • Conduct regular account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for various tasks including the use of pivot tables and VLOOKUPs. • Operate Microsoft Dynamics for various accounting tasks. • Engage in credit card reconciliation tasks to ensure accuracy. • Provide support in non-profit accounting tasks when required. • Maintain a detailed and organized record of all transactions and financial activities.
