Description We are actively scouting for an Accounting Clerk to join our family-owned business in Siler City, North Carolina. In this role, you will be handling a variety of tasks including invoice processing, account reconciliation, maintaining customer files, and providing effective solutions for accounts receivable discrepancies. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity. Responsibilities • Accurately processing customer invoices and submitting them through various electronic platforms • Providing all necessary supporting documentation to customers to facilitate invoice payment • Investigating and resolving any discrepancies in the accounts receivable • Consistently maintaining and updating customer file information in the accounting system and CRM • Posting customer payments and creating general receivable journal entries • Keeping a close watch on the accounts receivable aging report and informing management of any issues with payment • Assisting with month-end closing tasks as directed • Generating contract reports and submitting them to the relevant reporting agencies • Utilizing skills in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Receivable (AR), Billing, Data Entry, Invoice Processing, and Microsoft Excel to perform duties effectively. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year experience in an accounting clerk role or similar position • Proficient in account reconciliation processes and procedures • Demonstrable experience in managing accounts receivable (AR) • Previous experience with billing is required • Must possess excellent data entry skills • Experience in invoice processing is mandatory • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables and vlookups Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
