Description We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Accounting Clerk in the non-profit industry, based in Sacramento, California. The selected candidate will be tasked with handling various tasks including processing customer credit applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer queries. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately process Purchase of Service (POS) invoices, authorizations, and payments • Maintain precise records of all financial transactions • Address customer queries and issues in a timely manner • Assist in account reconciliation tasks to ensure financial accuracy • Handle accounts payable and receivable duties as required • Perform data entry tasks and process invoices as part of daily duties • Utilize Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks for various financial operations • Provide support for audit processes by responding to requests and liaising with external auditors • Perform advanced accounting functions as required • Assist team members with special projects and problem-solving tasks when necessary. Requirements • Proficient in Account Reconciliation, with a keen eye for detecting discrepancies and resolving differences • Demonstrable experience with Accounts Payable (AP), ensuring prompt payment of invoices and maintaining accurate records • Solid understanding of Accounts Receivable (AR), focusing on effectively managing incoming payments and ensuring financial records are up-to-date • Competence in Billing, with the ability to prepare and send invoices accurately and timely • Skilled in Data Entry, with an emphasis on accuracy and efficiency • Experience with Invoice Processing, ensuring all company invoices are correctly processed and paid in a timely manner • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and perform data analysis • Familiarity with QuickBooks, with the ability to manage financial data and generate reports as needed Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
