Description We are seeking an Accounting/Tax Clerk for a short-term contract position. This position will be onsite and provides direct support to the finance office. Responsibilities: • Accurately perform data entry tasks related to financial transactions • Handle payments, both in-person and over the phone • Issue tax receipts following the completion of transactions • Engage positively and professionally with the public • Ensure the secure handling of cash and other financial transactions This position can be part-time or full-time hours Monday - Thursday. Contract length: Roughly 2 months Business Casual Attire Great office environment Requirements • Strong proficiency in Data Entry, with a keen attention to detail and accuracy. • Demonstrated ability in handling Daily Receipts, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded. • Previous experience in Cash Handling, with the ability to count, sort, and manage funds effectively. • A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in accounting or a related field is preferred. • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to meet tight deadlines. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
