Description We are in search of a proficient Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Real Estate & Property industry. Located in Houston, Texas, this role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity where the selected candidate will play a key role in handling customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions. Responsibilities • Accept and process customer payments • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications • Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate • Undertake account reconciliation activities • Assist with invoice processing • Manage data entry tasks using Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, SAP • Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable functions • Carry out billing activities • Update accounts and engage in collection calls when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) is essential. • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes is necessary. • Must possess strong Billing skills. • Proficient in Data Entry tasks. • Experience in Invoice Processing is required. • Must have expertise in Microsoft Excel. • Knowledge of Oracle is a must. • Proficiency in QuickBooks is desirable. • Familiarity with SAP software is necessary.
