Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity in Richmond, Virginia for an Accounting Clerk. As an Accounting Clerk, you will primarily be involved in the finance sector, with responsibilities that include account reconciliation, managing accounts payable and receivable, and handling billing and data entry tasks. Responsibilities: • Accurately reconcile accounts to ensure all financial data is up-to-date. • Efficiently manage accounts payable (AP) to guarantee all financial obligations are met. • Oversee accounts receivable (AR) to confirm all incoming payments are accounted for and properly posted. • Handle billing tasks, ensuring all invoices are issued correctly and paid on time. • Perform data entry tasks, updating and maintaining all necessary records. • Process invoices accurately and in a timely manner. • Use Microsoft Excel to organize financial data and create reports. • Utilize Oracle software for data management tasks. • Employ QuickBooks for financial tracking and reporting. • Operate SAP systems for efficient business process management.
