Accounting Clerk
Description Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing company in the tech industry, committed to innovation and operational excellence. They are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Clerk to join their team and assist with day-to-day financial operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for growth and exposure to the unique challenges of the tech industry. The Accounting Clerk will support the finance team by performing a variety of accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring that financial records are accurate and up to date. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and eager to contribute to a collaborative team environment. Key Responsibilities: + Process and reconcile accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) transactions. + Maintain and update the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness. + Assist with data entry of financial transactions and documentation. + Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and other financial accounts. + Prepare and issue invoices, as well as track and follow up on payments. + Support month-end and year-end closing processes. + Generate and distribute financial reports to assist with decision-making. + Assist with expense tracking, vendor management, and budget monitoring. + Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards. + Perform administrative tasks, such as filing, organizing financial records, and maintaining databases. Requirements + High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred. + 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or bookkeeping role (internship experience considered). + Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or NetSuite) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel). + Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. + Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. + Knowledge of basic accounting principles and practices. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Familiarity with tech industry operations is a plus but not required.
