Accounting Clerk
Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to join our team in the Financial Services industry, located in DUBLIN, Ohio. In this role, you will be tasked with the responsibility of ensuring the efficient management of financial records and bank accounts, as well as assisting with the treasury function. This position offers a short-term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Efficiently manage the company's bank accounts, ensuring accurate and timely transactions. • Maintain and manage comprehensive financial records, logs, spreadsheets, and registers. • Support the business in managing its treasury function, providing necessary assistance where needed. • Prepare analytical reports as needed, interpreting, analyzing, and summarizing information and data to formulate conclusions and recommended actions. • Perform general office duties, including handling routine correspondence and answering telephones. • Utilize your skills in Account Reconciliation, Data Entry, Microsoft Excel, Oracle, and Communication to complete tasks effectively and efficiently. • Take the initiative to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision, demonstrating strong follow-up skills. • Exhibit strong multitasking and organization skills, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and on time. • Display strong attention to detail in all tasks, ensuring the accuracy and quality of work. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required, with the ability to balance and maintain accurate ledgers. • Strong data entry skills are essential, ensuring accurate and timely input of financial information. • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel is mandatory, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and other advanced functions. • Experience with Oracle financial software is a must, with the ability to use it for various accounting tasks. • Excellent communication skills are required, with the ability to clearly and effectively convey financial information to colleagues and superiors.
