Description We are offering a permanent employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in New York, United States. Working within the wholesale industry, the role involves various tasks related to invoicing and record keeping. The successful applicant will work in a dynamic environment where familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics (Solomon), SAGE, and Excel is essential. Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in an efficient manner. • Keep records of customer credit accurately and up-to-date. • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail oriented manner. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions. • Assist with printing invoices and matching approvals to invoices. • Match purchase orders to invoices and verify pricing details. • Learn to code invoices and keep track of wire transfer confirmations. • Operate various software including Microsoft Great Plains Solomon and Sage Accounting Software. Requirements • Initial role requiring no years of experience. • Capability to categorize invoices for appropriate distribution. • Skill in inputting invoices into financial systems. • Familiarity with invoice approvals, ensuring precision and validity. • Knowledge of invoice entry, accurately documenting all necessary details. • Experience with purchase orders, understanding their processing and execution. • Competence in conducting wire transfers, ensuring secure and prompt transactions. • Proficiency in using Microsoft Great Plains Solomon for financial purposes. • Familiarity with Sage Accounting Software, utilizing it to streamline financial tasks.
