Accounting Clerk
Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team based in Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will be expected to perform a range of tasks including processing invoices, maintaining customer credit records, and handling customer inquiries. You will also be required to monitor customer accounts and take necessary action. The salary range will be $45,000 - $60,000 DOE along with phenomenal benefits, opportunity to work hand and hand with the partners of the firm, all while working in a beautiful office centrally located! Responsibilities: • Accurately process customer credit applications in a timely and efficient manner • Consistently maintain precise customer credit records • Handle and resolve customer inquiries promptly • Monitor customer accounts and initiate appropriate action when necessary • Provide backup support for the Controller, learning and executing certain accounting processes in their absence • Perform daily duties such as deposits and accounts payable processing • Use software such as QuickBooks and Excel for various accounting tasks • Take responsibility for miscellaneous duties including license renewals and maintenance of company vehicle logs • Act as a backup to the Front Office Receptionist, greeting visitors, answering and directing phone calls • Carry out any other tasks as requested by the partners. Requirements • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role as an Accounting Clerk • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation to ensure financial records are accurate • Practical experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) management • Experience in Billing processes and procedures • Ability to perform Data Entry tasks with high level of accuracy • Familiarity with Invoice Processing and the ability to handle large volumes of invoices •Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and financial reporting • Proficiency in using QuickBooks for accounting and financial management Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
