Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the service industry, based in San Jose, California. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be working closely with the IT team, assisting them with the creation of purchase orders and invoice payments. Although prior knowledge of Power Plan is beneficial, it is not a strict requirement, as we are primarily looking for quick learners who can be trained on the job. This role requires you to be on-site five days a week. Responsibilities: • Assisting the IT team with the creation of purchase orders • Helping with invoice payments • Learning and using Power Plan for various tasks • Processing invoices accurately and efficiently • Keeping up-to-date records of customer credits • Handling customer inquiries and resolving them promptly • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary. Requirements • Proficiency in Invoice Processing, with the ability to manage large volumes of invoices efficiently and accurately. • Experience in Invoice Payment, demonstrating a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of account management. • Ability to Prepare Invoices in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring all relevant details are included. • Familiarity with handling Purchase Orders, including creating, processing, and tracking orders with precision. • Proficiency in using Power Plan software to manage financial data and generate reports.
