Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the bustling city of Walnut Creek, California. This role is pivotal in the finance industry, with a focus on account reconciliation, accounts payable and receivable, billing, and data entry tasks. Responsibilities: • Efficiently process invoices and maintain accurate records of the same • Ensure accurate and timely account reconciliation • Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) with precision • Perform billing tasks, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Undertake data entry tasks as required, ensuring accuracy and efficiency • Utilize Microsoft Excel, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP in day-to-day operations • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Maintain an organized workspace and manage tasks efficiently. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all financial records are accurate and up-to-date. • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP), managing outgoing payments in a timely and efficient manner. • Familiarity with Accounts Receivable (AR), overseeing incoming payments and ensuring they are recorded correctly. • Knowledge of Billing processes, accurately issuing invoices to customers and clients. • Strong Data Entry skills, inputting financial information into the company's database with high level of accuracy. • Expertise in Invoice Processing, reviewing and verifying invoice data for payments. • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, utilizing it for data analysis and financial report creation. • Experience with Oracle financial software, managing and analyzing financial data. • Familiarity with QuickBooks for managing and tracking company expenses and payroll. • Knowledge of SAP for financial reporting and managing business operations.
