Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the hospitality industry, based in New York. The successful candidate will be tasked with a variety of functions including data entry, managing approved invoices, scanning, filing and handling Accounts Payable. Responsibilities: • Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate • Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and efficient manner • Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary • Manage data entry tasks with precision and speed • Handle scanning and filing duties to maintain organized records • Oversee approved invoices and ensure they are processed accurately Requirements • Proficiency in Data Entry is necessary for efficient input of financial transactions • Experience in approving invoices, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy • Proficiency in Scanning documents, ensuring all important paperwork is digitized and stored appropriately • Strong Filing skills to maintain proper organization of physical and digital records • Familiarity with Accounts Payable (AP) processes, understanding the procedures for managing outgoing payments Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
