Description Robert Half is seeking a talented Accounting Clerk for a reputable company in Queens, New York. This role is ideal for someone with 1+ years of accounting experience, including expertise in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), data entry, and reconciliations. Key Responsibilities + Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process and record invoices, payments, and accounts receivables with a keen eye for accuracy and timeliness. + Reconciliation: Reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial records to ensure accuracy in transactions and reporting. + Data Entry: Input financial data into accounting software and ensure all records are updated and error-free. + General Ledger Maintenance: Assist with postings, journal entries, and maintaining the integrity of the general ledger. + Administrative Support: Provide ad hoc support to the accounting department, including maintaining proper filing systems and generating reports. Requirements Experience: 1+ year of accounting experience, including exposure to AP, AR, reconciliations, and data entry. Education: Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred but not required.
