Description Robert Half has an opening for a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk with our client in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The Accounting Clerk will be a critical part of the team, focusing on managing accounts payable and receivable, reconciling accounts, processing invoices, and maintaining accurate records. Responsibilities • Manage and reconcile account discrepancies to ensure accuracy in financial records • Handle accounts payable duties, ensuring all financial transactions are processed efficiently • Oversee accounts receivable operations to guarantee timely payment and accurate record keeping • Undertake billing responsibilities, generating invoices and ensuring they are sent out in a timely manner • Conduct data entry tasks to maintain and update customer records • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data analysis and reporting • Engage in collections tasks, following up on overdue accounts and resolving any issues Requirements • Demonstrated expertise in Account Reconciliation • Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) management • Proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR) processing • Familiarity with Billing procedures • Ability to perform accurate Data Entry tasks • Experience in Invoice Processing • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel • Experience in Collections handling and management Robert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
