Description We are currently in the process of expanding our team in the manufacturing sector, based in Ceres, California, and are actively searching for an Accounting Clerk. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity where you will be expected to handle both Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions while ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices. Responsibilities: • Accurate processing of invoices for both AR and AP on a weekly basis. • Verification, entry, and reconciliation of financial data to maintain comprehensive and precise records. • Proactively reaching out to clients to resolve outstanding balances and ensure timely collections. • Synchronization of purchase orders, invoices, and payment records for AP transactions. • Active involvement in month-end closing tasks for AR and AP accounts. • Responding efficiently to inquiries from vendors, clients, and internal teams regarding transactions. • Upholding compliance with company policies and accounting best practices.
