Description We are in search of an Accounting Clerk to assist our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The role involves administrative tasks and light accounting duties in a dynamic environment. This opportunity offers a short term contract employment. Responsibilities: • Provide administrative assistance to the accounting department • Manage and process accounts payable and invoices with accuracy • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions • Respond promptly and effectively to customer inquiries related to accounts and invoices • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions when required • Ensure all accounting tasks are conducted in accordance with company policies and regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) operations • Demonstrated experience in Invoice Processing • Proven skills in Administrative Assistance • Strong attention to detail and accuracy • Knowledge of basic bookkeeping procedures • Familiarity with financial regulations • Hands-on experience with accounting software • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information • High school diploma; associate’s/bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus • Excellent data entry skills • Good practical experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software • Professionalism and organization skills • Ability to multitask and remain motivated and positive • Commitment to working efficiently and accurately.
