Description We are seeking an Accounting Clerk for our client located in St. Rose, Louisiana. The main function of this role is to manage customer invoicing, account reconciliations, and collections, along with customer service responsibilities. This is a short-term contract to full time employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Prepare and distribute invoices to customers accurately • Carry out account reconciliations and identify and resolve any discrepancies • Actively manage and follow up on outstanding payments • Manage past-due accounts to ensure timely resolution • Act as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing superior customer service and support • Professionally handle incoming calls and redirect inquiries as needed • Use Excel for data entry, sorting, and formulas • Utilize Great Plains Accounting software for various accounting tasks • Carry out billing duties as required Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is a must • Demonstrable experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) • Ability to perform Data Entry tasks efficiently and accurately • Familiarity with Invoice Processing is required • Should be adept at using Excel for various accounting tasks • Experience with Great Plains Accounting software is desirable • Should have the ability to handle Billing tasks effectively Robert Half puts you in the best position to succeed by advocating on your behalf and promoting you to employers.
