Description Our client, a reputable and well-established non-profit organization, is in need for an Accounting Clerk to join their team on an audit project! Their located on the Southwest side of Tucson, and will be helping for at least 3-6 months, with an opportunity to extend. This is a great opportunity for someone who has great attention to detail, has a basic understanding of accounting, and looking to continue growing their experience. Responsibilities: • Maintain precise records of bank records • Assisting the accounting department with any data entry of invoices - AP/AR, and bank transactions • Data entry into MS Excel • Ensure accurate data entry of journal entries, with a thorough understanding of debits and credits • Manage data entry of financial transactions from 2020 with high attention to detail and focus • Proficiently use Microsoft Excel and accounting system to help them get up to date Requirements • Entry-level position, no specific years of experience required. • Basic understanding of Accounting - knowing what a debit/credit is • Proficiency in data entry tasks. • High attention to detail, organized and deadline driven • Ability to use Microsoft Excel for financial tasks.
