Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in SAN FRANCISCO, California. As an Accounting Clerk, you will be tasked with maintaining the financial records of our company, including conducting bank reconciliations, managing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and using Sage Intacct software. Responsibilities: • Conducting regular bank reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accounted for and correctly posted. • Managing Accounts Payable (AP), which includes processing invoices and payments. • Overseeing Accounts Receivable (AR), including recording deposits and handling customer inquiries. • Using Sage Intacct software to maintain accurate financial records. • Assisting in catching up with any financial backlog, such as unrecorded transactions from previous months. • Collaborating with the team to ensure all financial data is accurate and up-to-date. • Resolving any discrepancies or issues related to the company's financial records. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in an accounting role • Experience working at a non-profit or supportive housing strongly preferred • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation • Strong skills in Accounts Payable (AP) • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) • Familiarity with Sage Intacct accounting software • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to work independently and in a team • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel • Practical knowledge of financial regulations and legislation.
