Accounting Clerk
Description We are searching for an Accounting Clerk to augment our team in the Service industry, located in the City of Industry, California. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and involves processing accounts, managing billing, and handling data entry tasks. Responsibilities: • Oversee the Account Reconciliation process to ensure accuracy and efficiency. • Handle Accounts Payable (AP) by tracking, managing, and processing payments. • Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) by ensuring all incoming payments are recorded and reconciled. • Oversee Billing operations to ensure all invoices are issued and paid on time. • Perform Data Entry tasks to update and maintain our financial database. • Process Invoices, ensuring that all payments are made in a timely manner. • Utilize Microsoft Excel for financial data management and analysis. • Operate Oracle software for various accounting and financial tasks. • Use QuickBooks for managing and processing financial transactions. • Operate SAP software for various accounting and business operations. Requirements • A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Service industry. • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, ensuring all transactions are correctly recorded and discrepancies are swiftly resolved. • Practical knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP), including the ability to manage all outgoing payments. • Experience with Accounts Receivable (AR), including the ability to ensure all incoming payments are correctly recorded and promptly processed. • Demonstrable skills in Billing, including the ability to prepare and send invoices to clients. • Familiarity with Data Entry tasks, ensuring all information is accurately inserted into the company's database. • Proficiency in Invoice Processing, ensuring all invoices are accurately prepared and promptly sent to clients. • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create spreadsheets, use advanced formulas, and generate reports. • Experience with Oracle, demonstrating the ability to use this software for various accounting tasks. • Proficiency in QuickBooks, including the ability to manage financial data and generate reports. • Familiarity with SAP, demonstrating the ability to handle various accounting tasks within this software.
