Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an Accounting Clerk in the retail clothing and accessories sector, based in Vista, California. This role will be carried out onsite and involves a range of accounting functions. Responsibilities: • Managing daily financial transactions, such as deposits and checks. • Responsible for the preparation of bank deposits. • Ensuring accuracy in the accounts payable by matching invoices. • Conducting account reconciliation tasks using tools such as NetSuite and Excel. • Addressing and resolving any discrepancies or issues within the general ledger and journal entries. • Maintaining and cleaning financial records for the month of September. • Assisting in the implementation and adaptation of a new ERP system. • Processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently. • Ensuring accurate record keeping of customer credit information. • Monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate actions when necessary. Requirements • Proven experience in Account Reconciliation, ensuring financial discrepancies are promptly addressed. • Competency in managing Accounts Payable (AP), including processing payments and maintaining updated records of invoices and receipts. • Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), including verifying discrepancies and resolving clients' billing issues. • Ability to perform Billing tasks accurately, generating invoices and account statements as required. • Proficiency in Data Entry, ensuring the prompt and accurate input of financial data into the company's system. • Solid experience in Invoice Processing, reviewing and verifying invoices for appropriate documentation prior to payment. • Proficient in Microsoft Excel for managing and processing large volumes of data, including the use of advanced functions. • Experience in using Oracle for financial management, including the ability to navigate and operate its financial systems effectively.
