As the Accounting Clerk, you will assist the Credit Manager to ensure and impactful and thoughtful productivity in maintaining and protecting our Hotel’s receivables and assets.
Hourly Rate: $28.41
What you will be doing:
Provide assistance with Group Master clerical and billing proceduresReview Dun & Bradstreet reports for our Credit Application processAttendance required in some Pre-Convention MeetingsIn person interaction(s) with Meeting Conveners, as necessaryMaintain an open and professional communication with all Departments that affect Group Billing MastersRegular review of Aging Report with timely follow-up communicationPrepare for and participate in monthly credit meetingsAssistance with Month End closing tasks and proceduresAssistance with timely revenue adjustmentsAssistance with Corporate Programs billing proceduresAssistance with Hotel internal and external partners billing proceduresProvide assistance with Tour FIT billing procedures, as necessaryAble to maintain an organized and functioning filing systemQualifications
Your experience and skills include:
Experience
One year experience with accounting related duties preferredFlexibility to work weekends as necessary to reflect business needs Must be able to effectively communicate both verbally and written, with all level of colleagues in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented mannerMust be able to maintain confidentiality of all dataMust possess basic computational abilityMust possess computer skills, including a proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook requiredWorking knowledge of accounting software is an assetMust possess strong organizational skills with demonstrated numerical aptitude and problem solving skillsMust be able to multi-task and be detail-oriented in a fast paced, high volume environment.Must have ability to work independently and to prioritize or seek clarification in prioritizing work assignments to meet strict deadlinesMaintain a professional working environment and attitudeEducation
High School diploma (or equivalent) and/or vocational trainingAccounting degree is an assetAdditional Information
