Description We are offering a position for an Accounting Clerk Payables in Concord, California. The role involves the processing of accounts payables and providing support for year-end tasks in a detail-oriented setting. This position is a short term contract employment opportunity. Responsibilities: • Handle accounts payable processing tasks efficiently. • Offer necessary support for year-end related duties. • Use Data Entry skills to maintain and update financial records. • Provide exceptional Customer Service while resolving inquiries related to accounts payable. • Monitor customer accounts and take necessary action when required. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk Payables or similar role. • Proficiency in data entry and administrative duties. • Strong knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles. • Proficient in using accounting software and spreadsheets. • Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships. • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to spot numerical errors. • Good organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information. • Knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws and regulations related to accounts payable. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
