Pay Rate: $45 Location: Toronto ON Job Type: Contract Our client, the largest Commercial Lender in Canada, is looking to hire an Accounting Consultant, Commercial Lending / Banking for an initial term of 12 months.  There is a very strong chance for this role to extend and/or convert into a full time role.

**this is a hybrid role, in office 2-3 days per week.

As the Accounting Consultant, Commercial Lending / Banking, you are primarily responsible for developing "as is" and "to be" process maps and the associated gap analysis.  More specifically you will: Review and recommend controls, accounting operations and policy, etc. re associated with system changes; Writing test scripts, executing test scripts, reconciling out differences, etc. Writing [re-writing] various reports under the new system from the old. Process improvements and other ad hoc duties as assigned.
Qualifications: CPA with a strong understanding of commercial lending processes; Experience with Advanced Commercial Banking System "ACBS" and/or SAP; Experience working on a systems project as outlined above.
