Description A prestigious entertainment company in Knoxville, TN is seeking for an Accounting Consultant to support their Oracle Fixed Asset initiatives. This is a part-time position with remote flexibility that will perform month fixed asset, depreciation calculations, and journal entries on a monthly basis. The Oracle Fixed Asset Accounting Consultant will train staff on how to utilize the system to managed fixed asset responsibilities. Additional responsibilities below: Responsibilities: • Utilize Oracle Fixed Assets to manage and maintain group fixed assets. • Compute fixed asset depreciation and record associated journal entries accurately. • Contribute to the month-end close process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting. • Oversee the management and maintenance of fixed asset inventory. • Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations. • Handle both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions as necessary. • Train other team members on fixed asset processes, systems, and procedures. • Maintain accurate fixed asset ledger and other financial records. Requirements • Over 4 years of Oracle Fixed Asset experience • Bachelor's degree is required • Knowledge of Fixed Asset Accounting principles and methods. • Understanding of Fixed Asset Depreciation calculations and their impact on financial statements. • Capability to manage Fixed Asset Inventory and ensure its accuracy. • Experience in maintaining a comprehensive and up-to-date Fixed Asset Ledger.
