We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical accounting professional to join our accounting team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting account analysis, preparing detailed financial reports, and contributing to the enhancement of accounting processes. This role requires a strong adherence to accounting principles and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams on diverse financial projects. The successful applicant will also manage accounting transactions, ensure compliance with industry standards, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting regulations. Key Responsibilities
• Preparing financial reports and conducting variance analysis to compare actual performance against forecast and previous months.• Conducting detailed data account analysis and preparing comprehensive reports.• Contributing to the improvement of financial processes and internal controls.• Ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.• Working with cross-functional teams on various financial projects.• Recording of some financial transactions (accruals, intercompany transactions, payroll postings, local GAAP postings, etc.)• Intercompany reconciliation• Collecting and organizing financial data for internal and external audits.• Bank reconciliations• Ensuring all financial practices adhere to industry standards and legal requirements.• Keeping up-to-date with changes in financial regulations and standards.• Managing relationships with stakeholders to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Requirements
Education:A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or similar are often preferred.
Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in financial software and tools (e.g., Advanced Excel,
Power Query
Accounting ERPs).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Experience:3+ years' previous experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a related field.Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processesSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications and premium geographic location.
