Accounting Coordinator
Grants/Accounting Coordinator | Pay: $26 - $28/hr | 3-month contract | Hybrid in Washington, DC

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Coordinator to join our finance team. This role involves preparing, compiling, and entering data into Sage Intacct, ensuring accuracy and completeness of source documents, and performing various administrative duties.

ResponsibilitiesPrepare, compile, enter, and sort documents for data entry in Sage Intacct.Check source documents for accuracy.Verify and correct data where necessary.Obtain further information for incomplete documents.Update data and files as needed.Combine and rearrange data from source documents when required.Essential SkillsProven data entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or Office Clerk.Experience with Sage Intacct budget entry.Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and other functions.Strong attention to detail when working with large spreadsheets without supervision.Familiarity with administrative duties.Typing speed and accuracy.Excellent knowledge of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.Ability to multi-task effectively.Confidentiality and organizational skills with the ability to stay focused on assigned tasks.Experience with MS Office and Sage Intacct.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma.Additional certification or Degree in Accounting/Finance is preferable.Experience in grant management is an asset.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
