The Opportunity:

As a highly valued member of the Knoxville, TN team, the Accounting Coordinator is responsible for performing general ledger accounting, journal entries, account reconciliation, gross margin reporting and management reporting as necessary, and balancing of departmental accounts.

 How you will impact Smurfit WestRock:

Assists in basic accounting functionsPerforms account reconciliationPerforms gross margin reportingPrepares and creates management reporting as neededPrepares and enters journal entriesProduces accurate monthly reports including income and balance sheetsPerforms general ledger maintenance

 

What you need to succeed:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university or college in accounting or related field is preferredManufacturing experience highly preferredAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, etc.)Proficient in JDE and AS400 is requiredForeign current accounting is a plusAbility to relate effectively with others at all levels of the organization
