Accounting Coordinator
Stacey Danley at Aplin has partnered with a growing Winnipeg construction firm in the search for an Accounting Coordinator. This is an excellent opportunity for an administrative professional with previous accounting experience to join a collaborative and high-performing team.

Responsibilities:Data entry, including coding, verifying against contracts, identifying, and reconciling discrepanciesCredit card statements reconciliation for all corporate cardsAccounts Payable management, including credit applications, account setup, and all communications with VendorsAccounts Receivable management, including Customer billings and payment collectionIssuing of payments and refundsWorking closely with the Controller and Project Coordinator, to keep Project budgets accurate and up to dateOverseeing tracking sheets and programs for various systems. Setup, updating, and maintenance as requiredAll Accounting department filing, electronic and hard copyProvide direct support to the Controller on special projects, completing tasks as assigned
Qualifications:2+ years’ experience in a fast-paced accounting or bookkeeping roleA mix of experience and post-secondary education may be consideredStrong written and verbal communication skillsProficiency with Excel, Word, and OutlookDetail-oriented and organized with a strong ability to multi-taskHigh level of accuracy and ability to meet deadlinesStrong problem-solving and research skillsAbility to work effectively both independently and in a team setting
Please note this is a full-time permanent Monday-Friday role. Office hours are 8:30 am-4:30 pm.
