Accounting Director - Operations

The Operational Accounting Director will oversee an accounting team to manage accounting operations such as Accounts Receivable (AR), Intercompany (IC), Fixed Assets, Leases, and Accounts Payable (AP). The Director will handle daily operations, ensuring compliance with ASC 842, GAAP, and corporate accounting standards. Experience with ERP systems is highly desirable for managing and streamlining accounting operations. Key responsibilities include overseeing journal entries, capital expenditure reporting, fixed assets management and reconciliation, and general ledger account reconciliation. The Director will also ensure SOX compliance, prepare and review financial reports, and provide strategic financial planning and analysis. The Director will collaborate with senior management on financial strategies and planning. Additionally, they will manage internal and external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is provided. This role requires strong leadership, effective delegation, and the ability to drive process improvements within the accounting department.
