Smith & Wesson is seeking a highly motivated Intern to join our Accounting & Finance teams for Summer 2025! This internship opportunity will provide hands-on experience and exposure to various functions in our Accounting and Finance departments. Location, Schedule, & Compensation: In-office/non-remote Maryville, TN Monday-Friday Paid Education and Experience: * Currently enrolled in an associate or bachelor’s degree program in accounting or finance. * Experience or interest in the manufacturing industry Essential Duties and Responsibilities: * Aid and assist with monthly financial close procedures, including; Preparation of journal entries, including standard, accrual and correcting entries * Analyzing/researching variances to plan * Assisting with the reconciliation of balance sheet accounts to ensure financial results are accurately represented and in conformance with US GAAP * Participate in the preparation of footnotes for quarterly and annual SEC reporting * Participate in the quarterly audits * Complete assignments and projects to support Accounting and Finance teams and respond to additional assignments from management as required NOTE: This list presents only the principal duties of the position and is not intended to be comprehensive.
