Description We are offering an employment opportunity for an Accounting Generalist/Clerk in Stuart, Florida. The selected candidate will be engaged in a variety of accounting duties, playing a significant role in our accounting department. This position falls within the accounting industry and is based in a detail oriented office environment. Responsibilities: • Handle and oversee all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) functions. • Ensure accurate and timely processing of AP transactions. • Maintain and organize AP records, ensuring their accuracy and completeness. • Respond to inquiries related to Accounts Payable, providing accurate information. • Monitor and review customer accounts regularly, ensuring all financial data is up to date. • Take appropriate action on customer accounts when necessary, following established procedures. • Assist in the resolution of any issues or discrepancies related to customer accounts. Requirements • Proven experience as an Accounting Generalist / Clerk or similar role in the financial sector. • Demonstrable knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) procedures. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. • Familiarity with accounting software like QuickBooks or similar. • Strong understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles. • Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records. • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail. • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information. • Solid data entry skills along with a knack for numbers. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or relevant field.
