Interns will be part of the Accounting team, gaining hands-on experience and actively contributing to team projects. The program emphasizes real-world industry exposure and internal training opportunities, fostering a unique learning experience and encouraging participation in company events. **Schedule** Summer Internship is 10-12 weeks, starting in June and ending in August - September, depending on the 'candidate's availability. **Responsibilities:** + **Invoice Processing:** Assist in the timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices. + **Communication:** Communicate with team regarding invoice discrepancies, payment inquiries, and other related matters. + **Recordkeeping:** Maintain organized and accurate records of accounts payable transactions. + **Assist with Reconciliation:** Support the reconciliation of accounts payable transactions and statements. + **Data Entry:** Input financial data into accounting software and other relevant systems. + **Projects:** Contribute to special projects and assignments as needed within the finance department. **Qualifications:** + **Education:** Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master’s program in Accounting, Finance, or related field. + **Detail-oriented:** Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. + **Communication Skills:** Good verbal and written communication skills. + **Team Player:** Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. + **Time Management:** Efficient organizational and time-management skills. + **Technology Skills:** Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with accounting software is a plus. **Benefits:** + Gain practical experience in accounts payable and finance. + Exposure to a dynamic and collaborative work environment. + Networking opportunities with finance professionals. + Potential for future employment opportunities based on performance.
