Job DescriptionPerformance Contracting Group is seeking a full-time paid intern to support the Accounting Department during the summer of 2025 at our corporate headquarters in Lenexa, KS. As a key member of the Accounting department, this role is responsible for assisting with the following:
Assist with preparing our accounting for auditsCreate journal entriesEnsure all journal entries are accounted forVerify that proper support systems are in placeScan journal entries into an electronic formatAssist with day-to-day financial analysisPlease note, this internship will run the course of 10 weeks during the summer of 2025. During that period, working hours will be Monday through Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
RequirementsBasic Requirements:
Must be in pursuit of an undergraduate Accounting degree during the summer of 2025Must be available to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, for ten weeks during the summer of 2025Must have completed introductory college-level Accounting coursesAbility to work well in a team environment through effective collaborationProficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and/or TeamsAbility to work well under pressure and meet deadlines consistently Customer service-oriented and able to maintain a professional demeanorDisplay strong verbal and written communication skillsPreferred Requirements:
